Objectives and Expected Impacts
The main goal of the project is to increase sports participation among individuals with motor, cognitive, sensory, and mental disabilities. To achieve this, personalized programs and adaptive activities will be offered to meet the diverse needs of the participants.Another key objective is to train sports instructors and operators to acquire the necessary skills to manage inclusive activities, adopting specific practices and methodologies for people with disabilities.
Moreover, the project aims to raise public awareness about the benefits of inclusive sports, combating stereotypes and promoting sports environments that are accessible to all, without distinction.
In the coming months, the consortium of partners will launch a training phase, followed by the organization of practical events in each partner country, where participants will have the opportunity to put into practice what they have learned.
The Involved Partners
IDEAL Sport4All is a project funded by the European Union under the ERASMUS SPORT 2024 program, involving four partners from three European countries. In addition to Italy, with the partners UISP Bologna and Dry Art, Slovenia, represented by Športna Unija Slovenije, and Romania, represented by Asociatia Judeteana Sportul Pentru Toți Suceava, are also taking part.The coordination of the project is entrusted to UISP Bologna, and each partner has been assigned a specific role based on their expertise to address the challenges and opportunities of the sports sector for people with disabilities.
