IDEAL Sport4All gives voice to inclusion at the Bologna Sport Day

Several inclusive activities were promoted by IDEAL Sport4All, involving people with and without disabilities across different disciplines:
  • Football, in collaboration with BFC Senza Barriere;
  • Skateboarding, with demonstrations and sessions led by autistic youth from BSS;
  • Integrated Muay Thai, organized by the Sempre Avanti asd, featuring participants with various motor and cognitive challenges.
Adding an even more special touch to the day was the performance of the Rulli e Frulli Band, a marching band made up of young people with different disabilities. Their vibrant rhythm and energy enlivened the afternoon, engaging athletes, educators, and the audience in a spontaneous and joyful moment of sharing among the various sports and associations present.

Participation in the Bologna Sport Day represented an important opportunity for IDEAL Sport4All to spread the values of inclusion, equality, and active participation, showing how sport can be a true meeting ground — a space where barriers and differences are overcome.

The initiative is part of IDEAL’s broader European journey, which brings together partners from Italy, Slovenia, and Romania with the shared goal of making sport genuinely accessible and welcoming for everyone.
