IDEAL Sport4All gives voice to inclusion at the Bologna Sport Day

Several inclusive activities were promoted by IDEAL Sport4All, involving people with and without disabilities across different disciplines: Football, in collaboration with BFC Senza Barriere; Skateboarding, with demonstrations and sessions led by autistic youth from BSS; Integrated Muay Thai, organized by the Sempre Avanti asd, featuring participants with various motor and cognitive challenges. Inclusion and Sport, Together in Slovenia

Sport brings people together — even in the rain. On September 24th, 2025, in Murska Sobota, the Sports Union of Slovenia organized an inclusive event within the European project IDEAL Sport4All , gathering 46 participants with and without disabilities for a day dedicated to sharing and accessible physical activity for everyone. During the day, participants also took part in a guided warm-up session and visited the first beehive in Slovenia accessible to paraplegic individuals — a tangible symbol of innovation and inclusion. The award ceremony , with trophies and medals, celebrated the best athletes and teams in each discipline, but above all, honored the collective spirit of participation. The event concluded with refreshments, interviews, and the distribution of official ev...

Inclusive sport, national events of the European project IDEAL SPORT4ALL kick off

During the latest coordination meeting with the partners, operational details were finalized: official graphics already sent to print, a shared folder with common interview questions, delegation logistics and hotel arrangements. The events will be an opportunity to collect stories and voices from different countries, highlighting the inclusive approach of sport. In Bologna, in addition to hosting international delegations, the final event in December will mark the conclusion of the project with the presentation of the documentary and the toolkit. Not only live sporting activities, but also digital outputs: particular attention has been given to the documentary podcast, which will be distributed on platforms such as Spotify and YouTube, ensuring high audio quality and content designed to focus on topics such as “Inclusive Sport.” A busy schedule will accompany the coming months, leading the project towards its final stage: demonstrating how sport, when truly inclusive, can become a tool...
